Many, many weeks have passed since I was actually active on deviantArt...I hope you guys didn´t forget me
I´d really like to apologize to everyone who has commented and didn´t receive an answer
...well, this week I wrote the final exams (Abitur in German), which is quite a serious matter. In short: studying was what kept me inactive.
But now I´ll have holidays for 3 weeks, during which I want to get back into contact with all you wonderful people here, so come and talk to me!
Now to something else...as some of you may know, I go to school together with
Yordaniella and we decided that we would try our hand at conceptual photography after these exams were over; once we have the account for this purpose up and running, I´ll update this journal to let you know!
I think that this will be really interesting, and since we´re both beginners at conceptuals, feedback would be very appreciated
All right, that was the important stuff, only read on if you want to hear more about the final exams
Monday: Todays examination subject: German.
Naturally, I was very nervous as this was the very first day of the final exams.
But once we were asked to go to our seats (we were assigned one with a paper that said our name) it wasn´t that bad
anymore...I could choose between five tasks; I ended up interpreting an extract from the book "Der Besuch der alten Dame" by Dürrenmatt. The whole thing went over five whole hours...x.x
Tuesday: My most feared subject - maths! I don´t think I did too well on that...
I don´t have much to say
Wednesday: After my most feared subject came my favourite: English. We had to extract information from a text,
compare two characters from two short stories ("My Son The Fanatic" and "The Force Of Circumstance" for those who might be interested
) and write a creative text.
Thursday: No exam today! Instead time for some quick last minute studying for...
Friday: ...Biology. Having to choose 3 from 4 tasks doesn´t sound like that much...but I still wasn´t able to finish in time. Oh well, I guess that´s not that surprising when each of those tasks was along the lines of: Read the given text, find the hidden relevant information and try to think up a hypothesis about the topic, draw/interpret this diagram...(the list goes on) and each of these tasks contains at least four subtasks. Alright, that´s it for this journal
